Nuclear energy is necessary today to reduce greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.
Numerous projects for new reactors are underway in France and around the world, with over 80 projects for new reactors. These projects are based on existing technologies or new technologies.
Regardless of the technologies, the size, the players, they all have one thing in common: the installation of a nuclear reactor in its environment is quite special because of the size of the investment and the legitimate questions it raises.
Once the design work is completed, it is necessary to work with regulatory authorities and local authorities to obtain the necessary permits, in terms of nuclear safety and security. It is also necessary to find and qualify the industrialists and the investors who will participate in the construction, to train, recruit and qualify the personnel who will work on the site, and to create relations of trust with the population to allow the project to be implemented under good conditions.
This liaison work between the project promoter and its environment is indispensable regardless of the chosen technology and the type of reactor.
And it is crucial for the success of the project.
Our goal is, through our accumulated experience and by pooling needs, to help build strong and trustworthy relationships between project holders of reactors and their environment.
